These are brand-new but vintage Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban sunglasses. Authenticity can be verified by noting the small "BL" etching on the lens. All of Dolly's Sunglasses merchandise is in brand-new condition and has been kept in dry, air-conditioned storage. I think the first pair cost about $65, but then, I was making about $1.25 an hour at the time, too (and gasoline was 35 cents a gallon!). My how times change! These are heavy and expensive, but I am used to the weight. I like the cable earpieces. If you have the normal earpieces, the weight of the glasses tends to make them slip down or off when one looks downward - especially if it is hot and you are sweating. You can easily adjust the cable portion with a pair of needle-nosed pliers to fit comfortably. Optically these are absolutely perfect and there is no problem in wearing them all day.
